Many years of industry experience, spanning almost 3 decades. Several years at a senior managerial level operating extremely successful volume and premium franchised retail businesses, leading and motivating teams of professionals to achieve impressive sales and aftersales results year after year.
More recently, joining Jemca, and taking a small Lexus dealership (adjoining a sister Toyota site) in 2007, to a high profile, flagship £8 million site.
We opened for business in August 2008. Diana oversees the daily operation of the Centre to ensure the teams are consistently delivering first class results and outstanding levels of customer service.
General Sales Manager
David has been employed in the motor industry for over 10 years. He joined Jemca in 2002 as a Corporate Sales Specialist within the Toyota fleet department.
Within 2 years David moved across to develop Lexus sales in the local business market. When the showroom relocated in 2008, he trained as a Business Manager, supporting the retail sales team in the selling of finance and insurance products.
Business has grown significantly within that time and he has been promoted to the position of new car sales manager, with the responsibility for increasing sales activity within the new car sales department.
Fas began his career in the motor trade with Toyota when he was 17, in the position of a Parts Apprentice and working through various positions in the after sales department.
Having established himself and developing his knowledge through After Sales he decided to change his career path.
He joined the Lexus Edgware Road sales team in 2007 as a trainee. If you need any assistance in purchasing your new Lexus he will be more than happy to help you.
After Sales Manager
David has always been in the Motor Trade Industry. He started as an apprentice and worked through the ranks and has held several managerial roles. David has been with Lexus now for 13 years.
David commented that "Lexus is an extremely reliable brand, I like the quality of the cars and it's a good brand to work with. Jemca has been a very encouraging company to work for. They are forward thinking, loyal to their staff and those that enjoy working for Jemca tend to stay a very long time."
For David customer service is about "good clear customer service, providing what we say we are going to provide and making sure the customer feels cared and looked after."
Service Booking Clerk
Steve is our Service Administrator and has been with us since November 2011, he has been in the Motor trade since August 1994 having started as an Apprentice Technician and progressed into the role of Service Advisor before moving to Service Administration.
He is primarily responsible for bookings and general enquiries but can help out where necessary within the role of the Service Department.
Senior Service Advisor
Phil has worked in the motor trade since leaving 6th form college. He started work initially as an apprentice technician whilst studying on day release at Acton Technical College for an Ordinary National Certificate in motor vehicle engineering. He went on to become service advisor and car hire supervisor.
He has worked at Lexus Edgware Road since 1997 and is our senior service advisor, working with our team of advisors in the service department.
Senior Lexus Sales Advisor
AJ Akhtar joined Lexus Edgware Road in April 2000 after moving to London from the USA. He has more than 22 years of experience in the luxury car industry.
AJ began his career in Atlanta Georgia, USA where he held positions with BMW, Lexus and Mercedes. Aj stated that his "aim as a salesperson is to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase."
Angela's role is Telephonist/Host and other front of house duties for Lexus Edgware Road. She joined Lexus in January on a Temporary Contract and was made Permanent at the end of May.
Angela is new to the Automotive Industry but has 17 years’ experience as a Receptionist/Telephonist and 19 years’ experience in Sales. She liaises and interacts between staff and customers to ensure a pleasant and happy experience at Lexus Edgware Road.
Chan is the Centre Host at Lexus Edgware Road. He has been with the company since May 2000 and is the first point of contact when you visit the Centre.
His other key responsibilities are in areas such as Health & Safety, Environmental Management. Chan is very proud of the fact that at Lexus Edgware Road we have ISO14001 accreditation.
Chan also sits on the Kaizen committee which adds value to the role he plays within the team.
